Daily, 1000′s of individuals start internet affiliate marketing, yet many of them can barely make enough money to stop their regular job. After a couple of years or mostly in less than 3 months they gave up. There’s no secret to Affiliate Marketing. Clearly, what they are doing is not correct.

Mistake #1: Know Nuts About Affiliate Marketing

They neglect the art of affiliate marketing. Believing that affiliate marketing is really a get rich quick plan, which all you need is to get an e-book on clickbank, then advertise it via Pay Per Click, Adsense or SEO. Sad but it’s true. Trust me, that’s what 90% of the people are doing.

They need to ask themselves:

1. What’s Marketing?

2. What are your plans to start, develop and maintain your business? It’s easy to start but difficult to develop and a pain to maintain.

3. What’s my affiliate marketing strategies message?

Mistake #2: Doing the work all by themselves

Most of them believe that they do not require training to success, and they can make it by themselves. I’m a Business Development Manager in profession and I have NOT seen this type of nonsense! I always believe in 2 heads are better than one but the more the merrier. It is the reality. Do you think you don’t require trainings and tools for Affiliate Marketing and Mentor to guide you the way in? I believe you bump in my blog because YOU FAILED! You Fail to make reasonable income as an affiliate “marketeer”. Sorry to pierce the knife right through your heart as I know it hurts. I’m just being honest because I was one of the failed internet affiliate marketeers.

I learn several discipline, in Japanese, they quote: Onegay Shimas meaning show me the path. Do you think that you do not need to be train or learn? Do you think that you do not need a mentor? Yes, but it will require lots of time, money, as well as lots and lots of patience but unfortunately, majority and I dare to say 90% of the cases, people fail and quit… Even they’re doing it the right way. So don’t make the same mistake like them on Affiliate Marketing. Go and get training, tools and mentor.

Mistake #3 – Over complicating the Affiliate Marketing Process

Affiliate Marketing isn’t complicated at all. This is what you need to do in order to succeed:

1. Research a lucrative market

2. Find what they need to purchase (the things they are buy now in other words the current trend)

3. Communicate (connect via website, advertisements, facebook, twitter…)

4. Promote reasonably good (junk is strictly a NO!) products.

PS: I’d prefer to promote membership and recurring earning products or higher than average priced products or items. Make sure that the products are what your client need.

5. Laughing all the way to the bank.

There you have it. Avoid these 3 deadly mistakes, and you will be fine. It is a business, so some of you will be successful faster than the others, while some are slower… However in general, should you follow my advices, you are already a winner.

You need to view the Affiliate Marketing process. You have to serve your market. Make yourself available to fixing their problems, and they will adore and love you for that. So when they adore and love you, they’ll buy anything you want them to buy.
